Homemade Mayo

This is a delicious and simple recipe that comes together in a pinch and tastes very similar to a Hellmans style mayonaise.

Equipment

  • 1 Mason Jar
  • 1 Immersion Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Farm Fresh Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 1 Tsp Local Honey
  • 1 Cup Sunflower Oil

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients into the mason jar and blend with an immersion blender for 2 minutes until thick.

Notes

  1. I have tried this recipe with olive oil and it did not work well for me. It was too liquidy and you could really taste the oil. I do not recommend.
  2. Store in the fridge for up to one (1) week.
